About:
Amanda is a popular network backup and archiving
software that protects multiple machines running
various versions of Linux, Unix, and Microsoft
Windows operating systems. It supports tapes,
disks, optical media, and changers.
Release focus: Major bugfixes
Changes:
Lots of bugs were fixed. The many IPv6 bugs
include missing sockaddr_storage, missing
AI_V4MAPPED and AI_ALL, a problem with comparing
IPv4 and IPv6 v4mapped addresses. The bsd/bsdudp
server uses two sockets; one for IPv4 and one for
IPv6. Compilation failures on some platforms were
fixed.
