About:
lm_sensors provides essential tools for monitoring
the temperatures, voltages, and fans of Linux
systems with hardware monitoring devices. It
contains a library for sensors access
(libsensors), a command-line tool for sensor
reporting (sensors), and a daemon (sensord). It
also contains scripts for sensor hardware
identification and fan speed control.
Release focus: Minor feature enhancements
Changes:
Support for the SMSC LPC47M192, Abit uGuru, ITE
IT8716F and IT8718F, and Winbond W83627EHF chips
was added to libsensors and sensors. The output of
the sensors-detect script was made clearer, and
detection of about 40 new chips was added. Many
driver cleanups and bugfixes were backported from
Linux 2.6.
