About:
TiVonage allows Vonage customers to use a TiVo to
manage their voice mail, including checking for
new messages, listening to messages, viewing
caller ID and address info, and returning calls
via Click2Call. To use TiVonage, you must have a
network-connected Series 2 TiVo and a computer
with Java installed.
Release focus: Major bugfixes
Changes:
HTML tags were removed from the caller ID data
returned by Google. This was only observed in
messages from businesses. The MP3 encoding timeout
was increased from 10s to 60s for slower machines.
A bug that prevented config.sh/config.bat from
exiting was fixed. sox and associated
encode.sh/encode.bat scripts were added to fix
problems caused by new .wav encoding from Vonage.
A country question was added to the setup. The
ability to check for new versions and notify the
user accordingly was added. Graceful handling of
messages from unknown callers was added. Minor
cosmetic changes were made.
