The "free for non-commercial use" statement is wholly misleading. All you get is crippleware. A waste of time.

Care to elaborate? Or are you just bitching for the sake of it?

I've looked at about a dozen different DHTML menu scripts / script generation tools and Milonic is the only one that performed reliably and *quickly* on different browsers running atop Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.

Very easy to integrate. Excellent work.

Well it looks like you'll have to change the license to "Commercial" now.

      This text comec from http://www.milonic.com/download.php

Due to the recent high demand for the menu we have had to cease offering free downloads for the time being.

In order to download the menu you will need to purchase a license from http://www.milonic.com/cbuy.php

So either they have had hundreds of thousands of downloads or this is their best excuse for changing the terms of the license.

No, I didn't fail to read anything. I also managed to read your custom license agreement at http://www.milonic.com/license.php which without a doubt places restrictions on the software.

By withholding free downloads and restricting distribution to only those who purchase a license makes it commercial. IMHO you should have suspended downloads to everyone to avoid any confusion.

Once you do restore free downloads it seems the license for this project -- based on the license link on the site as well as the required registration -- should at least be Free to use but restricted.
