 KSetiSaver - Default branch
Section: Unix

Added: Thu, Apr 11th 2002 11:25 UTC (6 years, 7 months ago) Updated: Sat, May 19th 2007 04:47 UTC (1 year, 6 months ago)

Screenshot About:
KSetiSaver acts as a normal screensaver for KDE. When running, it monitors a SETI@home client. It is also able to launch SETI@home on startup and terminate it when the screensaver is not active. This ensures that SETI@home is only active when the screensaver is active, like the windows screensaver version of seti@home.

[»] Configuring in Mandrake 8.2
by codeazure - Jun 19th 2002 23:46:37

I had some difficulty configuring, which was resolved by editing 'configure' and changing the value of the first occurance of kde_qtver to "2" and kde_qtsubver to "3".

Otherwise, it kept thinking it was building for QT3. I couldn't see any other way of resolving it.

I ran .configure with the options --prefix=/usr --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt2
